About Mechanical Department

The department offers Undergraduates & Postgraduate Programs in Mechanical Engineering. It has state of the art laboratories. Central Workshop is spread over 1134 sqm. housing carpentory shop, fitting shop, black-smithy and tin-smithy, plumbing shop, machine shop and foundry shop. The Mechanical engineers are required in automobile industries, steel plants, oil exploration and refining industries, technical wings of armed forces, aeronautical, agriculture industries etc. They get absorbed in private or public sector industries of various type. Several government department like SAIL , ONGC, DEFENCE, PWD, CPWD, reliance, L&T, Siemens etc employ mechanical engineers.
