  • • Creo2.0 Software
  • • Ansys 14.0 Software

Experiments to be Performed:

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. It is used for industrial designing and also to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. CAD is an important industrial art extensively used in many applications, including automotive, shipbuilding, and aerospace industries, industrial and architectural design.

  • • To study about CAD system
  • • To study about 2 - D and 3 - D transformation
  • • To study the optimum design method and to solve problem using optimum design method on optimum design of mechanical element
  • • To study the finite element analysis and it’s application to solving mechanical engineering problems
  • • To study about Geometric Modeling and practices on modeling software
